Esther the Wonder Pig Book
Esther the Wonder Pig

by Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter with Caprice Crane

Steve and his partner Derek have no idea what they are getting into when they received a call from his friend asking if they would take on her “Micro Mini Pig”. Steve agrees without Derek’s consent and that is where the fun begins.

Turns out Esther is not a micro pig, and grows up to be a full grown commercial pig.

This book chronicles the journey taken by Esther the pig and her human family, the challenges they face raising her, the ethical questions that come up along the way, and the valuable animal welfare education they
would receive.

They step out of their comfort zone and realize the dream is not only to make Esther’s life better, but the lives of others as well.

While reading this book you can’t help but laugh, cry, and realize what great opportunities are out there to make the lives of animals better, in turn making our lives better.
